Gourmet Street Food is a local street kitchen located just outside Tenby, Pembrokeshire. We are a local, independent family run business and launched in the spring of 2021.
We combine contemporary gourmet cooking practices with modern street food ideas to create a menu that is delicious and ethical.
Passionate about Pembs!
We are passionate about using local produce to reduce our environmental footprint and support local businesses. We are located at the Priory Farm Shop in New Hedges, just outside Tenby, with whom we work very closely to provide fresh, locally sourced produce. We work with The Copper Hog butchers in Tenby and Saundersfoot to source the highest standard of meat from local farmers across Pembrokeshire.
To further reduce our environmental impact we use food packaging that is recyclable or biodegradable. We use paper straws and cups, sugarcane take away containers, paper bags, wooden cutlery, and more! Our plastic reducing efforts have been recognised by 'Surfers Against Sewage' and 'Plasticfree.org.uk' and we have won an award and title of 'Plastic Free Champion'.
Giving Back!
We're proud to represent Pembrokeshire and try to give back to the community when we can.
In March we donated 40 Easter Eggs to The 3 Amigos Charity Easter Egg Run. The annual Easter Egg Run by the 3 Amigos takes place in April and sees hundreds of bikers drive across Pembrokeshire to raise funds for the charity Action For Children. The eggs which were donated to the group were given to Withybush and Glangwili hospitals for the child patients.
On Friday 18th March we held a collection for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. We donated 10% of every order to Comic Relief as well as collection change and donations, raising over £60.
Currently we are collecting for PATCH Charity - a charitable organisation aiming to relieve the effects of poverty for individuals and families within the county of Pembrokeshire. Since June 2008 PATCH has been giving free food parcels, clothing and household items to those in a financial crisis in Pembrokeshire. We are well aware of the rise in the use of food banks across the county (and country as a whole). As a catering establishment we are proud to support PATCH and their fantastic work within the community as a food bank and charity.
To date you have helped us raise £235 for PATCH. We have also donated 30 Easter Eggs - Thank you
